Get involved!
The CPC needs you! There are many opportunities
to assist the CPC in making a difference in the lives of clients of
all ages… men, women, and families, as well as teenage students in
the schools where Project Respect makes
presentations.
Is volunteering at the CPC just what will make you feel needed and
fulfilled? Is this the place for you? Do you have a heart for women
and teens and their sexual partners? Have you had a similar
experience in your life that gives you something to share with
someone in need?
Come to the next Volunteer Training Seminar, held at the Bryan CPC,
1410 W. High Street, on April 24, 25, 29 and 30.
This ministry training seminar will give you a very informative
background on pro-life issues, and the 23 year history of the
pregnancy centers’ effective work in NW Ohio. The cost is only $10
for the CPC Training Manual. You may fit your future volunteer time
into your schedule, but we’d like it to be one 3-4 hour shift per
week or in a CPC Center or on the Hotline in your home an evening
every other week. We need to be able to count on you just like an
employee because our clients will depend on you! Volunteer helpers
and nurses fill a very important role in our ministry as peer
counselors, pregnancy advocates, and friends for those who find
themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. Volunteer medical personnel
work with obstetrical ultrasound imaging and STD testing in Defiance
and Bryan. Clients need someone they can trust to give them factual
information in order to let them make the best choice for themselves
and their babies.
Please contact the Business Office (419-636-5692) for information on
volunteering or to register for the next 4-morning training seminar
on April 24, 25, 29 and 30.
