If you have a passion to serve your community and to help women, youth, and families, please consider becoming a volunteer here at the CPC. Many of our volunteer opportunities simply require a heart for our work and a pair of willing hands. Take a look at the opportunities available for volunteers:
Client Services Peer Counselor:
Provides one-on-one guidance and education to clients coming to the CPC for services such as: pregnancy testing, STD testing, educational sessions, material assistance, etc. This volunteer position requires attending the Volunteer Training Seminar.
Hot Line Worker:
Answers hotline calls forwarded to their home during the times our offices are not open. Provides services and office information, schedules appointments, and also gives guidance to callers. This volunteer position requires attending the Volunteer Training Seminar.
Client Center
Volunteer Receptionist:
Answers phone calls, greets clients, makes appointments, and helps with client follow-up.
Materials Room Assistant:
Sorts and shelves baby items and maternity clothes donated to our Materials Room.
Business Office Volunteers:
Provide clerical support such as making telephone calls, assisting with newsletter mailings, and stuffing envelopes.
Event Assistants:
Help with publicity, registration, underwriter phone calls, and/or other support tasks for fundraising events.
